Mereen Studio is a fine jewelry brand specializing in one-of-a-kind and custom pieces composed of sustainably obtained precious gems and metals.

Our gems are cut in-house, repurposed from estate pieces, or hand-selected consciously from trusted industry partners. All jewelry is designed in Seattle, and the majority of the jewelry production is done locally.

Our designs are architectural and modern, making for elevated pieces for everyday and beyond. Gemstones are carefully curated for their bold shapes and unique colorings and paired in unexpected ways to create one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality jewelry.

Meet the Owner

Ambreen Tyeb-Daud was born and raised in India and always dreamed in color. She moved to Seattle to be with her now husband 15 years ago and has called it home ever since. 2011 was a unique economic landscape and she found herself completely pivoting towards her artistic calling. Silversmithing, wax-carving, stone-setting were all skills she learned but ultimately decided she liked being around jewelry more than making it herself. Her familiarity with the process of jewelry making helped her secure a job in fine jewelry where she learned all the ins and outs of a fine jewelry business and remained there for 6 years. After a short year-long hiatus, she created Mereen Studio with her dear friend Megan Szczecko in 2025. At the end of the year, Megan decided to exclusively pursue her passion for faceting and Ambreen now continues on as the sole owner of Mereen Studio. Ambreen’s design reflects her passion for vibrancy. When she is not designing jewelry, she spends time with her family and friends, watches movies, thrifts at her local goodwill and cooks Indian food for whoever agrees to eat it.

The Process

Mereen is rooted in the belief that jewelry leaves imprints as it travels from concept to completion. The design process begins with responsibly obtained gemstones—whether cut in-house from traceable rough, repurposed from estate pieces, or sourced from trusted industry partners. A design is created for each gem that honors its beauty and the aesthetic of Mereen. No copies are create but unique iterations, making every piece one-of-a-kind. Most of the jewelry is made locally by highly skilled jewelers in the Seattle area using recycled metals whenever possible.
